Dr M K G Babu

M.K.G. Babu graduated in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Madras and obtained his Ph.D. from IIT Madras in the area of Spark Ignition Engines. His present areas of research include Computer Simulation of Engines, Emission Control, Fuel Efficient Engines, and Alternative Fuels for Combustion Engines. He has contributed significantly in his areas of activity and published about 140 research papers in the journals of repute.

Dr.Hema A. Murthy

Dr.Hema A. Murthy received her B.E. (1980) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, an M.Eng (1986) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University, Canada, and a Ph.D (1992) in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M), India. Her current research interests include Speech Signal Processing, Speech and Speaker Recognition, Computer Graphics and Computer Networks.

Current research interests: Solar and Atmospheric neutrino puzzles, Small-x structure functions-- spin independent and spin dependent, Anyons and fractional exchange statistics, Fractional exclusion statistics and their applications to correlated electron systems, also interested in Quantum chaos and nonlinear dynamics.

Dr. Gautam Menon

Statistical Mechanics and Condensed Matter physics including magnetic properties of superconductors, phase transitions, disordered systems, time-dependent statistical mechanics and some aspects of the physics of biological systems.
